Re-Covers baby carriers are easily adjustable for every baby from newborn to toddler. Baby size from newborn to two years old (3.2 kg / 7 lb – 20 kg / 45 lb).
What does ergonomic carrying mean in a baby carrier?
Babies enjoy being carried by their parents. With a baby carrier, you can keep your baby with you all day while having your hands free.
Our ergonomic baby carriers are of good quality and perfectly shaped. This means they contribute to a natural posture for you to carry your child and also a natural posture for your child to sit in.
You can easily recognize if your child is sitting in the natural position in a baby carrier. Your child then sits in the so-called M-position or frog position. The baby knows this position from the womb and sits with legs slightly spread and pulled up high. The knees are higher than the hips.
It is also important that the back panel is not too hard in an ergonomic carrier, so that the natural curvature of the back (C-shape) of your baby is followed. If there is a different posture, it can affect the development of the hips and spine. In the worst case, this can lead to conditions such as hip dysplasia.
